Thank you to our Community Day in the Park Gold Sponsors

Aug 5, 2025

Housecall Providers’ second annual Community Day in the Park would not have been possible without the generous support of this year’s Gold Sponsors.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to CareOregon, Dragonfly Health, NW Natural, and Threadgill’s Memorial Services. Their support reflects the powerful missions that drive their organizations forward. In this post, we’re shining a spotlight on each sponsor—celebrating who they are, what they stand for, and the meaningful impact they’re making in our community and beyond.

CareOregon

CareOregon is a nonprofit providing health insurance services to meet the health care needs of low-income Oregonians. Their mission is to inspire and partner to create quality and equity in individual and community health. Their vision is healthy communities for all individuals, regardless of income or social factors.

CareOregon serves about one quarter of Oregon Health Plan members plus members in their Medicare plan. They focus on the total health of their members, not just traditional health care. In teaming up with members, their families and their communities, they help Oregonians live better lives, prevent illness and respond effectively to health issues.

Dragonfly Health

Dragonfly Health is the leading care-at-home data, technology, and service platform and the first scaled DME and pharmacy network in the nation. They are advancing the quality of care and operational efficiencies by managing both DME and pharmacy together, with tech that consolidates workflows, reporting and data. It unlocks a new era of innovation in service of hospice and post-acute care patients when they need it most.

Dragonfly Health’s mantra is, “Whatever it takes. Wherever it takes us.” It’s a reflection of their ethos, culture and people. It captures their mission, dedication and resolve: to deliver exceptional solutions for our patients and our partners.

NW Natural

NW Natural has been a vital part of the Pacific Northwest since 1859, providing safe, reliable, and affordable energy in an environmentally responsible way to better the lives of the public they serve. NW Natural invests in hundreds of nonprofits annually that support kids and families at risk, and environmental stewardship.

“We live here, just like you. And as the only major locally based natural gas utility in our service area, we have a responsibility to help the people and communities around us,” says Dwight Adkins, NW Natural Community Relations Manager. “A Community Day in the Park is a great opportunity for Oregonians to learn about services at a fun-filled event. It is a one stop shop to learn about organizations addressing key issues like healthcare, housing, isolation, and food insecurity. These are all important community issues and NW Natural is proud to be involved.”

Threadgill’s Memorial Services has been serving the Beaverton area and Portland Metro community since March of 2007. Owners Ron and Deborah Threadgill’s desire was to raise the bar on how families were served. They do the transports themselves rather than using a transportation company, they answer the phones 24 hours instead of having an answering service, and they meet with families in the comfort of their homes. Families experience a continuity of care.

Today they are trendsetters in the funeral industry. They offer Aqua Cremation in addition to flame (traditional) cremation; they educate the public on natural or green burials; Deborah has received training as a death midwife in order to provide Family-Directed Home Funerals; she was also recently trained as an End of Life Doula and collaborates with Evening Star Doula Services in Portland; and they offer families the option of having a Living Funeral or Celebration of Life prior to death.

As we reflect on this event, we’re reminded that it’s the strength of our partnerships that truly makes a difference. We’re deeply grateful to our sponsors for standing beside us—not just in support of this event, but in championing the values and missions that unite us. Their commitment inspires us, and we look forward to continuing this meaningful work together in the months and years ahead.
