Housecall Providers welcomes Dr. Craig Tanner as new Hospice Medical Director

(Portland, Oregon) – Housecall Providers, a leading in-home healthcare organization dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality primary, palliative and hospice care to seriously ill and homebound patients, announces the appointment of Dr. Craig Tanner as its new Hospice Medical Director. Dr. Tanner, formerly a Housecall Providers Hospice & Primary Care Physician, brings a wealth of education and clinical experience, coupled with a deep commitment to the philosophy and advancement of hospice and palliative medicine.

Dr. Tanner assumes the leadership role from Dr. Brian Leese, who served as Hospice Medical Director since September 2020 and is transitioning into the position of Hospice Physician within the organization. Dr. Tanner steps into this role with a robust background in hospice and palliative medicine having worked at Portland VA Medical Center, NW Kaiser Permanente and Legacy Hopewell House. He earned his degree from the University of Washington Medical School and holds Fellowships in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, as well as General Internal Medicine from Oregon Health & Science University and Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
