The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends influenza (flu) vaccinations for all our patients every year. But this year is particularly important given that COVID-19 is surging across the country. Our clinical leadership strongly urges you to receive the flu vaccine unless you have an identified allergy to the shot. If you are interested in receiving a flu vaccine from your Housecall Providers care team, please contact the office at 971-202-5500 to schedule an appointment.
If you have already received your flu vaccination, or plan to get vaccinated by someone other than Housecall Providers, please let us know the details so we can document it in your chart.
Because our patients often suffer from chronic illnesses and therefore fall into a high-risk category, it is our hope to have the majority, if not all of them vaccinated by the end of 2020,” says Primary Care Medical Director Dr. Pamela Miner.
If you do not want to be vaccinated this year, there is no need for you to take any action at this time.
