A benefit to promote awareness of local nonprofits that offer critical support and services to our community’s elders, adults with disabilities and those facing serious illness.

Come cheer as more than 25 of our community’s nonprofits compete in a cornhole tournament for the title of Portland Toss for a Cause Champion 2024. The day will feature music, entertainment, refreshments available for purchase from two delicious food carts and a beer garden.

You’ll have the opportunity to explore “Nonprofit Row” where you can learn about the missions of the organizations competing and find out about ways to get involved. Whether you’re seeking information, assistance for you or a loved one or planning the steps to age in place, you’ll find answers at Nonprofit Row.

For families, there will be outdoor games and a field with cornhole boards where visitors can try out a toss or two and sign-up for friendly games. Our “pros” will be on hand to offer tips and tricks, potentially igniting a new family pastime. There will also be a raffle with fun prizes and winners throughout the day, and at the awards ceremony following the tournament.

No registration required, simply come prepared for a day of community spirit, information sharing, festivities and friendly competition. We envision this event to be an annual Portland tradition, uniting neighbors in support of a caring community.
