Announcement
Our next Patient Care Volunteer Training will take place on the following dates:
- Tuesday, July 25th – 6pm to 8:30pm
- Thursday, July 27th – 6pm to 8:30pm
- Tuesday, August 1st – 6pm to 8:30pm
All trainings are online and can be accessed at home. This is a three-session training. All three sessions are required, though substitute dates can be scheduled for those with schedule conflicts.
If you or someone you know is interested in participating or would like general information about volunteering to help patients and families in need, please call Todd Lawrence, Volunteer Coordinator at (971) 202-5515 or email him at volunteers@housecallproviders.org for more information.
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, pass a background check, and participate in a volunteer orientation. Volunteers who wish to work directly with patients must also provide proof of current vaccinations, pass drug and TB tests, and participate in a patient care training.
Individuals are encouraged to wait a year after the loss of a significant person before serving as a hospice volunteer working with patients, families or caregivers.
